Rifle Scopes KillFlash - to paint or not to paint?

That is the question. I mean the actual honeycomb. It looks like a black hole, so I thought maybe I could give it a light spray of some light color to blend into the environment. On the other hand I am afraid it would go against the purpose of the KillFlash, i.e. reflect, rather then kill...

    Drag bag modification: bipod loops

Re: Drag bag modification: bipod loops There is a Drag Bag/Shooting mat combo I am planning to buy (locally manufactured) and it has two adjustable loops in front, so the bipod rests on the ground. It is fine on solid ground, but on sand the bipod sinks, especially during repeated shots.

    Rifle Scopes Parallax keeps Changing

Re: Parallax keeps Changing Of course hysteresis is another possibility, depends on the quality of the scope. I discussed this with a shooting buddy who works for Meopta in a lab and I simply posted explanation I was given by him-expert. It should be possible to determine the amount of...

    Rifle Scopes Parallax keeps Changing

Re: Parallax keeps Changing The paralax will always be there. Just the setting changes with the temperature. Other atmospheric variables don't come into play - paralax setting changes internal configuration of the scope. The scope dilates with increasing temperature, it is physics. The...
