    L1a1

I agree, our gun law restrictions are very stupid and don't seem to make any sense if you try and find some rationale behind them. Also, our national police gets to decide what is allowed and what isn't based without any political influence. I could literally wake up tomorrow and my SKS could be...

Best thing since full faced helmets!

That's a decision for riders to make for themselves. I give my respect to people who decide not to ride/drive in situations that don't make them comfortable, instead of being dangerous to others.

    L1a1

Hello, My father's birthday is around the corner and I want to get him a bolt for his FN L1A1. The L1A1 is a prohibited weapon in Canada, but he is grandfathered into owning one. Since the rifle is L1A1 is prohibited in Canada it makes an already hard to find part impossible! Does anyone...

    Check out my muzzle...

Good, I figured it was just carbon. I do not have experience with brakes but carbon buildup is VERY normal with firearms, if ever you get the chance to clean a GPMG that has fired a dozen boxes, you'll learn what 'carbon build up' really is :P

    Check out my muzzle...

Are they actually grooves? Looks to me like its a build up of carbon in some spots and a lack of carbon in others, causing the illusion of a depression. James

    Atlas Bipod on 10TR Stock

Hello I have a Savage 10TR (http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-bolt-action-rifles/175349-savage-10tr-308-what-thing.html) on it's way to me, and I'm looking to put a bipod on it. I'm thinking a Atlas bipod, as it has some really nice features. Upon some research, though, It would...

    Mikhail Kalashnikov passed away

I think if you can't hit a man sized target at 300 there might be a user issue... I have never personally used an AK, but I do own an SKS and I have easily hit a man sized target at 300.... Not trying to bash your shooting but either thats an extreme exaggeration or a big time user issue...

The reason it doesn't have a forward assist is because it reliable enough not to need one. Same with the TAR, AUG, SCAR, etc. The forward assist is the biggest indication that the gun has a design flaw, a button that needs to be smacked to prevent a known jam is not a solution to the design that...

Wow, didn't even notice that typo, that one is pretty bad. I apologize for my ignorance there. I have to disagree though, the mirror, a gadget that "makes life easier" increases the situational awareness of the drivers on the road and therefore has lowered the amount of collisions on the road. I...

The point is not to watch the rear view but to glance at it, it's much more practical then a shoulder check, which you can't argue is more dangerous then a glance. It's really not anymore distracting then a window mounted GPS you see in a lot of cars these days.

    Ideas for ultimate work/reloading bench

Something I learned about body mechanics in university is that your working environment should be NO lower then your waist. You're going to want to find the height that is most comfortable to you, the trade off being the higher up you go the harder it is to reach the stuff at the back. For...
