    Check your firing pen and spring, it could be getting fouled. I had the same problem on my 308 remy. The bolt has to be broken down to check.

    Thanks for that video I have a krieger 338 barrel that came 29 in being cut to 28 also at Accurate Ordnance being threaded for a 5 port pain killer hope all goes well.learned a lot from that video,I'd hate to have that problem.

    muzzle brakes clamp on

    I thought about those, but decided to go with the 5 port painkiller .I didn't think a clamp on would hold on to my lapua. Should be back from Accurate Ordnance in a few weeks.
