    Re: Handgun - Surfire X300 Ultra - Or Something else? Not a weapons light but I recently went from a surefire executive defrender led that was 220 luemens to a surefire fury that's 500 luemens. After seeing the difference between the two I would definitely say the ultra is the way to go.

    Re: A comparison of two USO scopes at twilight I did something similar with Leupold VX 1,2,and 3 a few years ago. All were 3-9 or 3.5-10 with 40mm objectives. All set on 9x. The VX-1 became useless first, followed by the VX-2, then the VX-3. If I remember you only got a few minutes extra time...

    Re: Need Help selecting optic for Brown Bear Hunt. I like the 1.5-6x42s made by Zeiss,s&b, and swarovski or a Leopold 1.5-5 vx3 for big animals. With the Leopold I go with the heavy reticle so it stands out better on dark surfaces.
