Sidearms & Scatterguns High Standard w/ lead wrapped barrel

Yesterday I picked up a High Standard Model B with original box and sale receipt from August 1926. It has thin lead wire tightly wrapped around the barrel. I was told that back then you could send your gun back to high standard to get it wrapped and painted to make it a bull barrel. This is the first time I ever seen anything like this. Here are a few pictures.

That is cool. It is an interesting idea they had. Its amazing it is has the wraping and the box at is rare

It was one of those things I saw and it ended up being another impulse buy. Just thought it was a neat little gun.
