    Re: 7x57 anyone? I use IMR 4831 to push hornady 175gr round nose at 2300 fps in my Ruger #1, Mauser 98, and a old pre war Brno. Will have to check but I believe its 42 grains. I got the data from the Hornady manual a few years ago and liked it so I stuck with it and haven't tried anything else.

    Re: 40 caliber, like or don't like I like the 40. I own a full size HK USP 40. I don't notice the snap everyone talks about. I've shot Glocks in 40 too and didn't notice. Then again both of those have great recoil reduction systems.
