    F T/R Competition Looking for 100 yards Reduced-Distance F-Class Targets

You could always make your own by using a black marker draw 1/2" circle for x ring on paper and 1'' circle for 10 ring so on so forth. Then scan it and print as many as you like. I know there's probably a place that you could order reduced targets but I like making my own, it makes me more...

    ocw testing done,now which powder

All my joking aside,,, Awesome shooting Smk, I'd just use the powder that you have the most of, or choose the powder that is easiest for you to obtain. I have a rifle that seems to shoot all charges well with minimum POI change, and I've found 10 shot groups are real helpful.

    ocw testing done,now which powder

I'd try a few more powder and bullet combos and look for something a little more consistent.

    F T/R Competition Odessa FV250yd F-Class Results October 20th

I've been having very good results with the Lee Collet neck sizer die, and the Redding Competition Seater die. These 2 dies working together has produced nearly perfect ammo as far as run-out is concerned, as well as seating depth. Run-out probably isn't too crucial for the average shooter, but...

    F T/R Competition Odessa FV250yd F-Class Results October 20th

I hope she gets well soon Greg, I've been trying different loads for my .308 Shilen F-class gun, weather has been poor for load development for the most part but I'm almost done. I'm also building a FTR Savage with a McGowan bull 1:7 twist .223 at 26". I'm hoping to shoot the 90 grain Berger's...

Sleuthing the Federal Gold Medal match load... Mk 316 Mod 0?

I also find it interesting that the FGMM and a lot of factory ammo doesn't have a chamfered cases mouth, pulled bullets look nice and clean without scrape marks from the seating process. I pulled apart a Federal blue box 150 power shok .308 round last night and the primer looks the same as a 168...

Sleuthing the Federal Gold Medal match load... Mk 316 Mod 0?

Dan, When I was chasing the 168 FGMM load a few years ago, I knew the powder was IMR 4064. Now the most interesting thing I have noticed is that the 168 FGMM does NOT use a Federal Match Primer. I punched the primers out from a few different lots over the past 3 years and they appear to be the...

Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Caps Scope Request/Measurement Thread

It looks and seems to me that the material that the caps are made out of should take paint real well. The caps are made of a very rugged material and have performed flawlessly for me. Regards Dan

SH ColdBore Challenge ! Test yourself...

I'd have to say for the rifle I shot the challenge with that if I replaced my Lapua brass with Winchester brass and kept everything else the same the point of impact would be different, as well as group size.

    F T/R Competition Odessa FV250yd F-Class Results October 20th

I was going to shoot today but the wind is a little bit too much for the load devlopement that needs to be accomplished. We have about 8" of snow now, not too big of a deal if you dressed warm and snug.

Advanced Marksmanship Shooting Skills: Sniper vs Competition Shooters

If one happens to be a competition shooter as well as a long range varmint and medium game hunter he shall be a well rounded and respected shooter, there's many guys like that, Also I know a guy who was either a spotter or sniper in the military and he is a very competitive in FTR...

Powder Storage and Transportation - Things you must be aware of!!

The thing is what if you your home is on fire in a area that is near the safe? I wouldn't want to go in the house to try to save anything, and you'd better damn well tell the firefighters. Once you tell the firefighters they may not be interested in saving your home.
