    Piecing together a new AR-15

I am going to undertake my first rifle build done entirely by myself, I've done parts here and there, lowers and such on my AR's over the years, but never built an entire rifle from parts. I'm deployed again and the tempo is pretty slow...not a lot going on where we are and as we "finish things...

Re: Tips on transitioning from a bolt to a gas gun. Frank actually has a video on YouTube that offers a few helpful tips on trigger control, follow through, and body position. I'm sure there is more in the paid training section. I'd link to it but I'm training for deployment and the internet...

Photos my long range boom stick

Re: my long range boom stick Based on the width of the scope tube (1" it looks like) vs. the length of the ejection port, how do you put a 338LM in there? Just sayin C_K I'm looking on my phone, could be wrong but it doesn't look long enough for that ginormous cartridge.

Re: 1,010 Meters (1,104 Yds) .308 20" for a 168 thats quite impressive. And as far as 10x optics...personally I don't see a problem with 1000m shooting with 10x. Its how I learned, and how many people learn, more is nice but not "needed". Nice shoostin!
