    Re: scope ring spacer A while back I shimmed inside the rear ring using 35mm film negative. I would not go more than three layers and go gentle tightening. It's not ideal but will get you some elevation when a canted rail is not available. TC

    Re: 155grn lapua scenar fps top speed? As I recall from my initial load dev 2900 was the MV required to stay supersonic to 1000 in all conditions. Unless you are finding another accuracy node I don't think the extra fps is gaining you much when compared to how hot you will need to stoke it...

    Re: 155grn lapua scenar fps top speed? I'm getting 2930 from 46.5 of N140 with Lapua brass and BR2 primer in a 26" barrel. It's a compressed load at mag length and is fairly hot in Quickload terms but no pressure signs......

    Re: Advice on finish please I'm really impressed with Durabake at the moment - no mixing, short oven cure and tough smooth matt finish using an inexpensive airbrush. Relatively small range of colours but cover the ones I want. TC
