    McMillan stock for 1903?

    Has anyone here ever seen or even better built a rifle using a Mcmillan stock with a 1903 or 1903A3 action? I've seen a few bare actions around lately, was thinking one with a heavy barrel, like a douglas #6 , aperture sights and a period scope in a HTG would be awesome... Any ideas?

    Here's a question after reading through all of the different iterations listed or spoken of in this thread. I have a 3.5-10X40 Vari-x tactical with the exposed M1 style turrets and mildot ret. Pairing this with a win model 70, g series push feed action and a Mcmillan stock (HTG or Hunter)...

    correct. Not sure what he's trying to defend, i didn't buy a new scope, the elevation turret assembly self destructed in my previous and i've been scopeless since. This quote is interesting too "I believe Bushnell is trying to assist all customers." ... What's helpful about ignoring messages...

    So how does that fit with them not replying to customers at all and selling the scope that people are waiting for on warranty via their online store? If stock was so bad I’d think the people with broken scopes would come first right?
