    I also rebarreled one of my .308 seekins to 6.5 creedmoor. Like bigjake I used a craddock bartlein barrel. I don’t have pictures handy but it shoots prime and berger factory Ammo better than I’m capable of shooting.

    I’m sure @slowworm is right. They’ve no doubt ceased production of the less popular bullets to maximize the most profitable lines they offer for the time being. Eventually stuff will come back. Not anytime soon though.

    I just shoot them. I clean a new barrel to get any residues out, then go zero it and shoot. I have not yet found a gun that won’t shoot this way.

    I’ve used both, but to be honest I primarily use that tripod for glassing now so it’s been a minute. I’ll try the screw again but I’m pretty sure I’ve tried that before.

    Not the connection between the two. I used some blue locktite on the screw. I do have trouble keeping the center column tight so it doesn’t rotate but that has nothing to do with the anvil head of course.

    Yes. I have a full blown RRS tripod with anvil 30 and a slik tripod with the anvil head. They are correct. The anvil head will mount straight to the tripod just like any other ballhead.

    @CyBuzz theres also sureshot range east near Vinton. It’s a bit of a drive for you from WDM but he’s got a lot more steel out than highlakes. 800 yards. 1100 sometimes at matches.
