Re: Tikka T3 CTR--'Scout' series....what happened?
Tikka's are awesome its to bad the selection isn't better here in the states, I just had a .308 rebarreld to a 6.5 creedmoor. It would have been nice to have the option of buying the .260 or 6.5 from Tikka.
Re: 6.5 creedmoor worth a shot?
Shoot4fun, sorry about the type O your right it should read .250 my bad.
one of the groups may have .0250 it was one ragged hole.
Re: Tikka T3 build...
Are you keeping it .308? I just had T-3 .308 re-barreled to the 6.5 creedmoor, what an awesome shooter it is now.
every thing on your list looks good, just keep the trigger like others have suggested.
Re: 6.5 creedmoor worth a shot?
I've had two built in the last 2 months and both of them shoot amazing!
I am very pleased with the accuracy of the round. I checked the speed on one yesterday and was getting 2850 avg out of the 140gr A-max with a 26 inch tube.
The groups were around .0250
Re: XLR Chassis Stock
Kyle told me they were not going to offer the Tikka T-3 magnum version there were issues with the safety of the recoil lug. I had one on order when i got the news. so he kindly refunded the funds.
Great customer service.
Re: Phoenix Custom Rifles lead times and services
GTgunner,
I guess I should have been more specific the muzzle brake is made by JP Enterprises. If your not familar with them they make killer AR's
Re: Please recommend a good rifle for a noob
You can't go wrong with the Tikka T3 I have bought at least 6 and every one has been a real shooter that can rival my many custom builds for a small fraction of the cost.
Re: Phoenix Custom Rifles lead times and services
That's my 6.5 creedmoor that keith posted photos of and it has the JP muzzle brake.
Thanks Keith, for posting the photos and thanks again for the awesome work you guys did building it. this thing is a real tack driver.
I will be using you...
