    Install it loose, then put the butt on the ground bounce it a little, seating the rifle then torque front to back and see if that works.

    your thinking too much man... whats in your mind will have more effect on your hits than any wind or bullet or whatever.. Get out of the weeds... go shoot it with anything and see where your at, then deviate intelligently from there. As you saw on here we all have different means to the end...

    I am shooting the 185 Berger through a 20 in Armalite AR10, 1/11 Krieger obermeyer chamber throated for .010 jump with a COAL of 2.950. ( cut out the 2.5 lede for 1.5 in the process too.) getting these things mag length for an AR10, your going to loose a lot of speed. Fwiw, my load is the same...

    Classic LR 306 load is 48.0 IMR4064 with the 180 Sierra MK, or the 175.

    77gr. smk powder recommendation.

    What type of speed and groups are you getting? I have a ton of MR2000 now and want to revisit it for 223, H4895 is my favorite, but have to conserve until supplies catch up. I tried 25.2 and it was OK but not as good as I was getting elsewhere. 8208 has really surprised me as well.

    Dont believe what they advertize. Litz tested the various 75/77's and the 75's had the lowest actual BC, being around .360, with the 77 sierra's/Bergers being around .370 and the Lapua 77 Scenar an outstanding .402. There is a list somewhere with the true G7 values, I can't find it right now...

    77GR SMK and 14.5" AR

    24.0 H4895 will get them to Mk262 speed, but a brass killer, but since you don't care it will work. Mag primers. Gave me 2850 from a 20 in rifle. actually a little faster than Mk262 in the same rifle same day.

    N140 Viht a good substitute for Varget or R15???

    45.0 N150 has been a great performer for me in an AR10 1/11 Krieger for 175's at mag length and 185's at 2.950. Will probably work better than N140 for what your looking to do.

    16" 1-7 AR15 loads
