    Unless the varmint is available with integrated rail and "metal" bottom metal, the CTR takes the advantage for me. Threaded barrel is cherry on top. I dont believe there is much, if any, accuracy nor heating advantage to the varmints barrel. CTR is, I think, close to a light palma contour...
