    PRS Talk Brake vs Suppressor

Shooting a Tikka t3x CTR in 6.5CM I've gone back to a brake from an AAC 7.62 can. I got a huge POI impact at 100 when I put the suppressor on, and never really felt like it was predictable at distance. I may revisit this once I get a direct thread Thunderbeast.

KRG Whiskey 3 Chassis-Let's See Them

Arca Swiss to picatinny w/ qd on picatinny

Yeah, that'll work, and I have a couple plates, but now that's three pieces to make it happen. I don't think it should be hard to make that RRS piece QD, hopefully soon.

    MD60Z vs MK4 vs LMSS

I am really close to pulling the trigger on a real spotting scope, sorry but no Swaro or Hensel for me until I hit the lottery. Use is for PRS competitions out to 1400 maybe longer. Must have a mil based reticle. Aftermarket support is important for tripod mounting, red dot or range finder...

    Leica 2400 R

Damn these things are fast. Make sure you're on the target before pushing the button or it will range off just about anything. Past 1700m so far.

    6.5 Creedmoor

I have that exact same Tikka, except I have an AAC SRD-762-6 can on it, and am getting 2712fps with 140g ELD-M Hornady bullets and 4831sc powder. less than 1/2 MOA with 5fps ES.

    6.5 Creedmoor

OK, with a Tikka T3x CTR 24" with brake (sorry don't remember the brand) in a KRG Bravo chassis. New Lapua brass trimmed to length with a Giraud, sorted and weighed, Winchester small rifle primer. Redding competition bushing die, 2.80 OAl, .05 jump. 121g Flatline & Varget powder. 7 shot...

    6.5 Creedmoor 147 Gr ELD-M. RL16, RL26, H4831SC, H4350 Test and Data

45.2g of H4831sc and 142g SMK's gave me my best results, with 45.1g of H4831sc and 147g ELD-M's. The groups are a bit large as I forgot a front bag and was just using the Harris BP. This gun shoots sub-moa with both factory ELD-M and my handloads.

    6.5 Creedmoor

Yeah I loaded up some of the Varget/121 Flatlines in Lapua brass and got 3152fps average on a 90* day with a DA somewhere near 4000'. That gets me a bullet that is still supersonic near 2000yds. Too expensive for my blood to shoot all the time, but great for those 1300yd PRS shots.

    6.5 Creedmoor 147 Gr ELD-M. RL16, RL26, H4831SC, H4350 Test and Data

These are 7 shot groups at 100yds, except the far lower right, that one is 14 shots. H4350 on the left and H4831 on the right. Badger/Krieger/KRG/Razor HD.

    6.5 Creedmoor 147 Gr ELD-M. RL16, RL26, H4831SC, H4350 Test and Data

I was getting discouraged with my initial groups, considering how well my other Creedmoor was doing with various loads, but that 45.2g of 4831sc was a sweetspot, been using it ever since.

    6.5 Creedmoor 147 Gr ELD-M. RL16, RL26, H4831SC, H4350 Test and Data

Here's some results from a 24" Tikka T3x CTR. I started buying H4831sc when H4350 was so scarce, and have now standardized on it for PRS loads. Although the H4350 gave me some good groups with low SD, 45.2g of H4831sc and the 142g SMK's was a sweet spot. r my PRS loads.

Duplicating MK 262 Mod 1 Ammo

I'll be working on replicating 262 as well. I have the Magtec version and from a 20" National Match AR I was getting 2786fps average. I'd like to be able to duplicate that with SMK's or the Nosler 77g.

    Adventures in 6.5CM loads.

CCI. I wanted Federal GM, but they were unavailable when I ordered up my $900 worth of powder, bullets and primers from Graffs. The CCI don't seem to be holding me back, and some other, much more experienced loaders I have talked to are of the opinion it doesn't really make much difference...
