    Installing yodave trigger spring on Tikka

    Just put one in my T3X Varmint .223. It broke at 1.25# at the low end to 1.75# at the high end, which is where I left it because it felt the best to me.

    Finally bought some IFAKs

    BZ on getting the gear. (y) Not a critique, but a recommendation. Be sure to get training on the specific items in your IFAK, especially the TQ. Hemorrhage control is tough enough, even more so under stress.

    I've been using the same RCBS hand primer for 22 years. I recently got a second one so I leave one set up for large primers and one set up for small.

    Curiously enough, I bought an IOR, albeit a relatively inexpensive 2.5-10x42 MP8 back in 2006 based on recommendations here. I had it on a Savage 10FP .308, which I never shot much because our club range got reduced to 100 yards. I just put it on a new Tikka .223 Varmint (post and pics to come)...

    Same here. Just got a Varmint in .223 and had been told the proprietary rings would come with it. I ordered a rail from Mountain Tactical, but it seems to have been re-routed by USPS, so I'm still waiting. I have some Ken Farrel rings on my IOR scope that I can use. I'm hoping to get it mounted...
