    On another note, this rifle has the shortest throat of any Remington 308 factory barrel I've owned. Into the lands at 2.295" base-ogive. That gives an OAL of 2.895" with 155 Scenars. All the others I've measured have been at least 0.040" longer than that.

    I've always used 17 in/lb in my Badger rings and Unimounts and had no issues with slippage or zero. If I use more I get ring marks.

    My AAC-SD actually produced the best accuracy with Hornady 168 Amax Match. Velocity was 2580 FPS. You can load exactly the same with Hornday brass, 44.1 grains of Varget and 168 Amax with CCI-200 primers.

    With the Hogue stock the most I'd go is $800, and even that's a stretch. That Hogue stock is just not very desireable. I'd be mich more inclined at $750, knowing I have to buy a stock. Just one man's opinion.
