Re: Barret 107A1 Accuracy Expectations?
Back in 2005 when I was researching the accuracy of various 50Cal's I found an NRA Publications link that stated the accuracy of the Barrett M82 to be 4 MOA! Yes... FOUR! Not .4! But 4 MOA! I couldn't believe it but it convinced me to go the "Bolt"...
Re: M1903A4 Remington 1943
I think XARMOR meant actually on the stock, Not under it. The barrels on A4's were not special or "match-grade" barrels. The markings on the barrel will be the same as any 03A3. The marks on the stock will indicate rebuild if there are more than the standard "RA"...
Re: M1903A4 Remington 1943
Your rifle looks to have been sporterized after the War. Not something that would have been modified in the field. Sending you a PM...
It looks to be a legit 03A4, but with the stock cut like that the originality can not be regained.

Got some more information about originality. Apparently, the CMP was selling 1903A3's in...
Re: Looky what I found! Remington 1903A3...
That's actually one of those... "Kick myself in the ass for doing it"... situations! I just HAD to HAVE a SCAR17s so I let it go so I could get one. After taking the SCAR apart and realizing it was just another AR/AK Variation with a $3000 price tag...
Hey Guys,
Not exactly a "Sniper" version but I just had to share! I just came across this Absolute Beauty yesterday so I jumped all over it! It's an 03A3 made by Remington. It was on the rack at my favorite Fun Shop. Just came out. I bought it without really researching the originality because...
Re: kimber 1911 questions
I had a Eclipse Pro Target. It shot fine. As accurate and reliable as any 45. Very pretty too! My problem was that you need a little pin that gets inserted into it to take it apart. What?!... My attitude is: If I can't field strip it without the use of special tools...

Re: Please help me figure out more info on this gun
Looks like some kind of old Mauser that someone converted into a Scout style rifle. Possibly Turkish. Definitely not it's original configuration. Be sure about the caliber before you try to shoot it. FWIW...
Re: Taking a Poll on Bore Cleaning
You're supposed to clean the bore???
Seriously... I pull a bore snake thru the barrel once at the beginning of a day of shooting to pull out the dust and once at the end of the day to pull out the excess carbon. Once in a while I'll soak the front end of...
Re: WTF is up with Federal 45ACP Brass!!!
I know... It sounds like I'm a real knucklehead and I probably am! The one that went off was one of the first ones that I ran across. I just pushed a little too hard. It probably also wasn't quite an hour but it certainly seemed like it. I was so...
Re: WTF is up with Federal 45ACP Brass!!!
Thanks for the heads up on some of the other brands. My reloading manuals are relatively old and I understand this is a relatively new development. I'll be chuckin' the Federal Brass in the garbage from now on!
