You will have to modifiy your stock for the new bolt shape. I was thinking about doing the same with some PTG bolt handles hope some guys here know how to to this.

I bought a torque wrench set from here and the bits are made in America and work great . We sell all the common brands at work Dewalt Milwaukee etc and none of them are as nice as the bits in the Borka set .
I understand what you are saying no problem and have adjusted dies for chamber size . The OP asked about adjusting the chamber size to save brass and your right he can adjust his sizing die to resize cases so there's no stretch .
I was talking about adjusting the chamber to some size other than...
Your right that the brass can be sized to an short or longer chamber to a point but extremely short chamber may not allow factory ammo and a over size chamber cause the same issue with factory brass slamming into the bolt. You have to think about the next guy that ends up with the rifle not...
Wouldn't excessive headspace make less pressure and more brass stretch ? I've always used scotch tape on the back of the go gauge to measure headspace but remember to peel it after measuring or you will be off on the next chamber job .
We have to relieve some material above the extractors for rebated rims like the 450 like your saying but this cartridge rim slides over and catches the groove cut for the extractor . On a normal 223 bolt that area is all filled holding the cartridge into the extractor claw this setup lets the...
We bought some of the actions PTG is selling this bolt also has the skeleton bolt handle they came with a RR serial number tube .
I have a few factory 17 fireballs, 221 fireballs and the 300 blackout I don't think the spring is that far off the 223 plunger position .
I'll get them up tonight meant to call you guys today crazy at work .
The bolt on the left has the cut out for the extra spring I believe its right inline with the roll pin . The case pivots grabbing the extractor cutout on the opposite side . This one is a .350 but the .223's do the same so...
Hello guys wondering if you guys have ran across this ? I bought some 223 Remington actions and the bolts have the relief cut for a second ejection plunger . Now that the action is barreled when cycled the brass gets hung up sticking in the bolt at a angle ? It seems to push the brass into the...
This is what I use to polish being a cheap skate I made everything but it would have been cheaper to buy time wise . You can correct some bad chatter marks with eighty grit and work your way finer all the way to chrome. Gordy uses a wire wheel to get that dull finish Shilen and Douglas barrels...
About six years ago I was struggling to find a decent lathe for barrel work . Most I looked at were badly worn in terrible shape or priced out of my price range . If anything was reasonably price it sold immediately with backup buyers waiting.
A good friend that taught me how to run a lathe...
