    I've been very happy with the LA Police Gear brand pants. They run $30-$50 and have worn well. Some of their styles will take knee pad inserts. Some of the styles have stretchy panels. I wear them for all types of matches and range work.

    Since much of the stage timing is par time, make sure you get one that is easy to set. I've been happy using the CED 7000s. But, I'm convinced. There are no great, no all shot timers. YMMV

    Landyards for shooting bags

    I use the Bandolier from Wiebad. It allows me to sling my Pump Pillow over a shoulder or cross body. I don't have to 'hold' the bag in place. When not in use, I just push it around my back.

    I make a habit of looking at the battery charge indicator every time I turn on my Kestrel 5700 Elite. Usually it says 100%. But sometimes it is less...a lot less.
