    Been looking for supplies to reload for my Tikka lite, got a couple hundred 168smk and a few lbs of imr3031, still looking for some primers. All my brass is from shooting 168fgmm. Is it possible to get a decent load with this powder and bullet combination?

    That’s kind of how i understood what they said. No matter where you zero it in the elevation range, you are not limited by the turret design on how much upward elevation you can use. Unless it is the MOA version. I want to get my hands on one of these Gen III but I doubt I will see one up...

    I have seen lots of pictures yes, nobody seems to carry this stuff up in the great north yet. From sitting behind it, looks very similar to my Gen 2. Who is looking up at the top of a turret when “sitting in the cockpit” . Seems to me another pointless thing to bitch about.

    The barrel being over 20mm doesn’t have any play here. The thread protector won’t screw past the shoulder of the 5/8x24 threads. Which is what your barrel is threaded at

    Ha I can see this. The setup we have is for dry tumbling, so likely using walnut for that. I think he’s planning on trying it both ways here in the next few days, and assessing it for himself. I will pass along all the information, which just says do whichever. Much appreciated guys!

    Tikka T3 Thread

    got the clamp for my atlas for Christmas, so I had to buy the 12” rail for it as I wasn’t equipped yet. I wanted the system for my 7RM on a rem 700, but decided to try it out on the Tikka before leaving it full time on the Remington. Worked out fairly well, likely get a 10” for the tikka.
