    Re: Rings and mounts I would go with a one piece mount. You can't go wrong with a Badger mount. I would just spend the money on a good mount, that way you don't need to replace it in the future. Thats the way I setup my rifles, is to make them as best as I can afford right from the start...

    Re: Anyone used 6.8 SPC on deer? I have heard it will do well on deer but I have never shot one with it. I too am curious as to the capiblity of the round on deer. But from what I have read the deer needs to be within 300yrds or the bullet doesn't have that much punch.

    Re: Mils or MOA? I prefer MOA/MOA myself. Is just easier for me than the mil/mil way but either way you go make sure that the reticule matches your adjustments on the turrnets.

    Re: SOG Knives I have a few SOG knifes and they are great for the $$$. I have mostly fixed blades SOGs. I use Benchmade autos for m folders. Both SOG and Benchmade are great knifes before you start getting custom made knifes.
