Rifle Scopes Need suggestions for LPVO

When the Steiners were $450-$500, they were a pretty solid choice. At the current $650-$700, not so much.

Rifle Scopes Tempted to buy a TR-24 R

You won't regret it. Only regret you'll have is not getting the 1-6x.

Rifle Scopes Need suggestions for LPVO

I am surprised the thread went this long without the Accupoint 1-6x being mentioned.

    Rifle Scopes Vortex 1-10x24

This is how I use my RG3, and IMHO it's the way to go. Even though 3gun stages are known distance (although it would be an interesting match if they weren't!), I personally like NOT having to remember my drops in addition to the ranges of different targets while on I'm the timer. Some people...

    Rifle Scopes Burris rt6 turrets

You should get a quality QD mount for each scope if you want to do this. Philosophically, LPVOs are almost never designed for dialing. The one that really seems like it might do what you need is the Bushnell SMRS 1-8.5x (BTR-2), and even at closeout pricing it's considerably more expensive than...

    Rifle Scopes Burris rt6 turrets

Have you checked the RT-6 reticle against your Valk's ammo? It is possible it'll work out OK, but making sure the BDC more or less lines up would be a thing I'd check out. I'm going to assume you're using it for hunting?

Rifle Scopes Scope for subsonic 300blk

That was my same reaction. Don't subs basically run out of steam past 150? It would be a lot more plausible to simply realize you're going to need to use supers past 200, and then plan your scope use accordingly; dealing with multiple zeros on a exposed locking turret isn't that hard anymore if...

Rifle Scopes Best price on Vortex Razor Gen 3 Mrad

Using the MOA version at a 3gun competition last week, I made 1/1 first round hits at 460yds and 3/4 first round hits at 400yds... all on a timer with 55gr Wolf Gold out of my AR-15. I would have no qualms whatsoever about taking it to 500-600. The fixed parallax isn't ideal, but is unlikely to...

    Rifle Scopes Eotech

Another alternative is the Vortex UH1, which has a fully enclosed housing. The other thing to consider is that some Eotechs have BDC dots. If that is a thing you're into, it could prove useful.

Rifle Scopes Trijicon Lawsuit to Holosun. What does that mean for Holosun Owners?

The insider info I had was that 1) this was indeed about the buttons and 2) the issue has been settled, so I suspect these may be the new, non-patent-infringing models. Lock mode does sound like a great idea, I know the RMRs had some issues with coming off of manual brightness mode.

Reloading Equipment WTS: Giraud Trimmer Case Holders: 6.5x.284, .260, 6mmX - $30 each

I bought a used Giraud Power Trimmer, and it came with case holders in some calibers I don't use: "6X" (I assume this is 6mmX, the precursor to 6mmXC) .260 (comes with a trimmed case) SOLD 6.5x.284 (which I guess is 6.5-284 Norma?) $30 each, shipped. Case holder and lock ring included, no...

Rifle Scopes Trijicon Lawsuit to Holosun. What does that mean for Holosun Owners?

Man, I was waiting for someone to bring this up. Trijicon makes some good stuff, but they have a VERY unfortunate history of screwing people when it comes to their reflex sights. Good luck getting tritium refills on your fiber optic Reflex sight without paying absurd money. The SRO and Tri-Power...

    Rifle Scopes LPVO for $350?

Red dots start running out of steam at 200. Even the Burris RT-6 will get you solid hits at 300 or 400.

    Rifle Scopes LPVO for $350?

The Burris RT-6 is made in the Phillipines, FYI. Like others, I think it is the hands-down choice for a 16-18" AR-15.

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell SMRS 1-8.5x....anyone?

I already bought it. Looks good on my Sig 556R.

Rifle Scopes Are Tier 1 scopes even worth it ?

One other consideration is that you'd expect to see more failures out of brands which have more lower end items being sold. For every Razor or AMG sold, there's probably like 10-20 lower end Vortex scopes out there. ZCO, TT, NF, etc. don't make budget scopes, so of course there's less failures...

Rifle Scopes Crosshairs/duplex reticle...what’s the use???

There are a lot of scopes out there that are terribly ill-thought-out or are simply old and obsolete. Scopes with duplex reticles and capped turrets fall into that category. As someone else has already said, sell that scope and get something that makes sense.

Rifle Scopes Sig Tango4 vs Vortex Strike Eagle

I voted for the Tango4 because there's no way I'm buying Chinese stuff if I have even semi-viable alternatives, but I do think that the Strike Eagle is currently the better scope overall. I suspect Sig is prepping for an optics line-up refresh based on how I've seen some of their pricing, so a...

Rifle Scopes Razor Mounts for AR10

The ADM Delta mount is what you're after: https://www.americandefensemanufacturing.com/product-p/ad-delta-c-30-std.htm That said, vertical split ADM mounts are not the end of the world, especially if you don't horribly overtighten them, and there's really no sense in spending a bunch of money...

Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor HD Gen III 1-10x

I ran the Razor Gen3 at a pistol/carbine class today. Long story made short, it did great. We did a lot of shooting at 50-75yd target arrays, some of which were AC-sized steel, and I didn't think the 5.5MOA dot made a big difference one way or the other. No eyebox issues, and both eyes open...
