    Thanks for the replies, currently I shoot 46.5 gr varget with 175 smk up top. Definitely was looking toward the 155 for velocity gains has anyone used those for hunting? Mainly pigs and whitetail.

    Just got mine in and I’m very impressed. I have changed my mind on what I’m building, need a mag bolt face. Has anyone tried swapping with Zermatt? Will they trade they out a unfired bolthead? If any one has experience with this I’d like to hear about it.

    Just picked up my first Savage in 338 lapua

    The one I had liked 300 gr Berger elite hunters with 89 gr h1000. Be sure you use Lapua brass, mine wouldn't handle Hornady brass.
