Samson EVO forearms? Need assistance.

Re: Samson EVO forearms? Need assistance. If I'm correct about my original post does that mean in theory I could buy the 12.37" forearm and have it machined to fit my gas piston system like the samson Evo 9ex does? By that I mean the way it encloses the gas block.

Samson EVO forearms? Need assistance.

So I've decided on a Samson EVO rail for my ar 15 build, but I'm not sure which one to use. It's a 20" barrel so I know I will need the rifle length forearm, but there are two different ones. There is a 12.37" and a 11" rifle length. I'm guessing the 12.37" is for a low profile DI system? Which...

So is it possible to convert a standard AR-15,with the delta ring /gas piston setup, to accept a free float barrel? I would love to place a Samson Evo 9EX forend on one with the 4in. extension. I would love to place it on this Huldra Arms 5.45x39...
