    Army M24 Build Thread

    Does anybody know if any other scopes were used on the M24? Obviously the fixed 10x Leupold was issued with the system but did they use the 3-10x Leupold at all? I want to get a period/system correct scope for my M24 and for whatever reason the 3-10x are much more affordable then the fixed 10x.

    Rifle Scopes Accuracy International Scope Mount

    I was wondering if any of you had any experience with AI scope mounts? I need a 20moa mount and have a Larue LT112 on another rifle but was thinking about getting the AI scope mount for my AI AW. The scope I will be mounting is a Schmidt and Bender PMII 5-25x 56mm.

    Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor HD LH 2-10x sufficient for long distance?

    For hunting applications that will be fine. For reference the Army issued 10x scopes on their sniper rifles(M24 for example) for years and they did a pretty good job engaging targets out to double your intended distance.

    Did they ever change the elevation rotation direction on the Mark 4 scopes? I have a 10x Mark 4 m3 and it has counter clock wise elevation adjustments(CCW to increase elevation) and I see the M118 turrets have to be turned clock wise to increase the elevation. For reference my scope was made in 09.

    I don't think I have the Ultra because the bottom of my scope doesn't say "Ultra" but the turrets look the same. Also did they ever make a M118LR turret for the M24 scope?
