    I have an LT745 on my SCAR 17s with a Bushnell Elite Tactical 3-12x44 and get proper eye relief with the rear of the mount positioned at rail slot "10". Hope this helps.

    Re: Your input please! Thank you all for taking the time to reply. It appears that the majority favors < 22". How would you feel shooting the 208 a-max out of a barrel this short? Wouldn't a barrel at say, 27.5" before the brake, have an edge over a 20" at distances in excess of 500 yards?
