Thanks for the responses and help. I trashed the “belted cases”. A lot of my problem is trying to short cut things to one brass prep pass on the RL750 vs multi passes through a Forster single stage.
I am using the same honed Forster die for both presses (decap/ball removed) and...
I'm using one shot as my lubricant. This is 308 zqi brass from a semi and going to another semi. Bulk ammo not precision.
spraying the one shot on with the brass laid flat in a plastic pan letting it dry. Then shake it up and give another shot or two. I'm not actually standing the shells up in a...
That powder is probably too slow for 130 gr in a gas gun.
You will end up with low velocity and high port pressure and probably a dirty burn.
If the accuracy is good just adjust your gas block and roll with it.
I already have 11# spring and the G34 is only reliable above 130 PF.
My PCC is what runs so low and for 3 gun stages with no steel and carbine matches it's all papers.
As long as they don't double targets 750fps should punch through
So my G34 gen 3 needs at least 130 pf to cycle.
My 5 inch AR9 runs at much less
115HAP at 1.07"
Max is 4.6gr of bullseye.
I got down to 2.3gr and 725fps and the gun was eating it like candy though I could tell the bolt was sluggish and not hitting bottom.
Recoil was 22lr like.
