    130 Eld-m 18” gas gun

    With a jp 22" I got 130 eldm to 2851 sd of 11 with 40 gr Varget, Hornady brass, CCI LR primer. Laser to 600 yds. Slr adjustable gas block and jp SCS with the weakest spring makes a big difference. If you don't have adjustable gas don't even think of that hot.

    18" 308 with 178ELDX. The low side is 2400 fps and a hint of vertical stringing coincidence with the high sd. Could be my imagination but still slow for a hunting round. 41.5 is 2450 - 2470.

    41.5gr is a powder node with 5 sd. Much above or below results in about 20 sd. The groups below this tighten up at 100 yds and above 41.5 spread out. I want to delay the bullet exit for barrel time. Do I increase or decrease the jump to the lands?

    130 eldm does not live up to its specs past 600 yds. Download it's custom curve and you will see before wasting money on them. Below 600 They are easy to tune lasers. 140eldm is awesome.

    Help 178ELDX crunching

    I used a drop tube but both hornady and IMI brass showed pressure on different sides of 43gr of 4064. 178ELDX is so long it consumes powder room. Factory ammo runs 2510 fps. I'm seeing accuracy at below 2450 fps and above that everything is wild including the factory hornady. 18 jp 308 btw...

    Shim stock in co- ax?

    Mine is in another town. Is it possible to put shim stock in the bottom jaw so you can shim brass up in controlled amounts? Of course only a few thousandths and remove any decap stuff.
