    Gems from Josh Bryant

Muscle Intention During high school I worked at a hardcore gym, it exposed me to a wide arrange of characters, like one member whom challenged another member to a dual in 1997. You read that correctly, a dual in the latter part of the 20th century. Another old-time powerlifter with a mullet...

    Gems from Josh Bryant

Encouragement: Not Always A Pat on the Back I had a great workout today, in fact, it was almost too good and got me too fired up. I try to avoid these workouts a lot because then I want to start to compete again…and I’m happy in my path right now not competing. Around Metroflex, at the gas...

    Why should you carry

I still want to see the full video. It serves two purposes: 1) discourages violent criminals and 2) helps teach armed citizens how to deal with them.

Sidearms & Scatterguns My new ZEV G24

That finish looks nice. Is the 24 USPSA legal? I thought it didn't fit in the box?

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE Join US in Air Strikes in Syria

I just read Iran has a constitution as well but I'm pretty sure their's is inferior to ours.

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE Join US in Air Strikes in Syria

The late General William Odom has a paper out there arguing this very point and can you believe some here are still wary of diplomatic efficacy?

500 million is .05% of a trillion, but hey, who's counting?

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE Join US in Air Strikes in Syria

I'm not so sure we are not the ones ultimately footing the bill for this. The question still remains: What do you do after blowing shit up to prevent the situation reoccurring?

Sidearms & Scatterguns Alien Gear Holsters

Part of the difficulty is everybody makes kydex holsters now a days. I have a multiholsters for my g23 if I where it on my hip that works fine so I stopped shopping around. Comptac, JM kydex, nsr tactical, I've also heard good things about.

    On American soil

I learned before not to argue with you but at 1k profit per human and probably 10x that per kilo of drugs, it's easier and more profitable to move drugs. Whoever is exporting the stuff, some corrupt Afghani will likely be in the loop, and they know quite well if thing go BOOM on US soil they'll...

    On American soil

This is one of the times where the cartels could end up providing some much needed intel. Terrorist attacks from the Mexican border would be bad for business.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Alien Gear Holsters

I had one of these. Decent holster for the price. The fasteners for the clips did rust. If you are fixed on the hybrid design, I'd order two and swap them out each day so the leather lasts longer. My current preference is for all kydex holsters though.

Who Knows About Solenoids? Reactive Targets.

I got these from Amazon: Amazon.com: Universal Car Power Door Lock Actuator 12-Volt Motor (2 Pack): Automotive. $5/each. So far, they seem strong enough to activate some sort of latch or lever. The throw is not very long though. I do think they will run off smaller batteries versus a car...

    Movie Theater The Unknown Known

That's a good point Greg and part of the reason why I find some of these more candid interviews interesting to watch, as the subjects are generally retired and more willing to speak freely.

    Movie Theater The Unknown Known

Just watched this flick on Netflix. It's a candid interview of Donald Rumsfeld made into a documentary. Interesting watch and seeing how events unfold through the perception of a senior leader. He came off as a stand up guy although he described himself as "cruel and measured". Putting...

    Rem 700 TAC 16.5" versus 700 5R in .223

I have a 16.5" stock sps remington in a pdc chassis and it shoots ~1/2 moa groups @ 100-200 w/ my 69 smk handloads @ 2650 fps and no problems hitting steel out to 700 yds asl in calm conditions. I couldn't be happier with this gun.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Ergonomics and ccw

You should experiment with appendix carry. You can hide a lot of gun if you are slim and tall, even with a tight shirt. Any gun, even slim, will print when seated in a tight shirt when on hip. Also, a lot of the pistol smiths who do grip reductions/stippling, may be willing to experiment with...
