New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Did they miss the home run by not going 3-15? Seems to me if your going to not have a 1x on the bottom your still going to be putting a dot on top. I would give up 2x and go to 3-15. I think the 3 would still work behind thermal clip ons.
Thank you for the suggestions. One question thought. It looks like the Eotech has the delta point pro foot print so it would require a plate or milling the slide correct?
Once again reviving this thread. I am in the same boat as others. Wanting a direct mount with no plate for a sig 365 XL. Any new options not listed above. Didn't know if there where any announcements at shot that I missed.
I am helping a friends wife purchase a scope for her husband. He has a large frame JP in 6.5 creed like the one in the attached picture. He wants (she is getting) a Nightforce 5-25 to put on it (i know there are many other scope options but this is what he wants). My question is can you can...
I think the Revic scope would be the highest end scope thats integrated. I would not call it mil spec. I think the best glass for your application would be the ZCO 4-20 and you could put the Vortex weapon mounted range finder on top.
camdog......good on your for wanting to get into long range shooting. Unfortunately you didn't pick a great setup to learn on. A 50 BMG is certainly badass but its not good to learn on. Also match grade ammo is going to be very expensive. An M1A with a springfield scope is probably not all that...
Fair point on sponsored shooters. I should add a buddy of mine has one that he uses both hunting and in NRL hunter and has had nothing but positive things to say about it.
Actually when i originally posted this my thought process was RDS vs LPVO or RDS+Magnifier
I think the LPVO or RDS + magnifier really narrows the gap between the 2.
However i see countless rifles with just a red dot. I can understand that if your focus is full time CQB that makes sense to me...
I have always heard good things about the Mavens but have never been able to put one through their paces. Have you considered trying their Demo program?
