    86,000 Garands from Philippines for CMP?

    Aren't we more likely to get those 1911s? Last I heard, we're still waiting on them to appoint a Secretary of the Army who can sign off on all of these. Then it'll take another year for the CMP to get them, grade/inspect them, and finally offer them for sale.

    How much should I expect to pay for a good condition 1903A4?

    Came across a Gibbs 1903A4 rifle recently for $1500, but I was advised to steer clear since they're not real 1903A4s and have quite a few differences. How much should I expect a good condition 1903A4 to run? Recently at Wanenmacher in Tulsa, I think I saw one for $3000+ but that seems too high.

    Movie Theater Hacksaw Ridge

    Was a lot better than even I expected. Hopefully Gibson is welcomed back into making more action war movies like this. Only gripe I had was that the damn BAR must have had an extended magazine lol.

    Movie Theater Dunkirk

    It's Nolan. It'll definitely be a good movie and he's always been very detail oriented. I can't think of a better director for a new WW2 movie since I'm such a big fan of his work. Hopefully he feels the urge to make more WW2 movies since that's my favorite war movie era.

    I'm so glad they went that route. Planet Hulk was one of the view comic books I recall reading and loving as a kid. It involves the Hulk being seen as too dangerous and being blasted off Earth in a rocket ship... him crash landing on a strange planet and getting a mind control device put on him...

    Movie Theater Anyone Read A Good NON-Fiction Book Lately?

    In the middle of reading "Blood Red Snow". It's by a MG42 gunner who wrote notes/journals about his time fighting the Russians around Stalingrad. First time I've read a WW2 book from the German perspective... kinda surprised I actually found sad for them but in the end they just want to survive.

    When shooting groups do you shoot 3 or 5 and why?

    I shoot 5 shots minimum. I prefer 10 actually, but 5 shots is the bare minimum. I'm not trying to get the smallest group size to brag about... I'm trying to see what the rifle and myself are consistently capable of. Anything more than 10 shots would require letting the barrel cool off some more...

    Need a barrel for my AIAT LFP (6.5C or 260? and where to buy)

    Bought my barrel from EuroOptic. Only managed to shoot 20-40 rounds through it, but it shot really nice groups for me.
