    Match ammo availability anyone noticed??

no I totally have been aware, in the past the panic buyer typically would not spend the amount it takes to buy a case of eley, or Midas plus and the match ammo dealers would typically have some stock. but I totally get what your saying and don’t take your comments as caustic at all.

    Match ammo availability anyone noticed??

I thought I would order some Midas+ or something eley makes to play with over the winter months and was sort of shocked as to what I found after an hour of searching and googling I found only 9 individual boxes (50) of Midas plus out of like 20-30 retailers.

Trued R700 action VS. custom action?

Custom actions have small flash holes and firing pins that actually fit the hole with very little clearance and that’s why you can run a higher pressure load than in a blueprinted/ trued up remmy. If one gets the lugs, bolt face, breech face, primary extraction fixed, bolt handle rig welded on...

Best path in choosing an NRL 22 rifle?

I have a full Vudoo build in a bravo chassis and it’s spectacular. I also have a B14r that I have bedded and put a Jewell trigger in and it’s also an awesome little rifle. The refinement of the Vudoo is worth the extra expense the bolt lift is slick and fluid nothing is clunky or chunky feeling...

    Cartridge selection help.

When my 6.5cm barrel is done I’m gonna step back to a 6 creed and shoot 105-115gr bullets personally.. 6.5-284, a straight 284 would be my choice in the hunting parameters you specified. The 284 is winning and dominated the long range games for a long time as did the 6.5-284.. either make an...

BigJimFish V22 Review and back to barrel twist

I’m personally considering a brux barrel in a 9 twist for my B14 just for the fun of it.. It will need to wait until next year, however I have been discussing it with an excellent gunsmith who believes he can get the barrels.

    R700 parts list seem ok?

I have bought the steel version (blued) it’s pretty nice but my stock needed some opening up in a few spots for it to sit right. Detachable mags are the way to go now a days.

    R700 parts list seem ok?

robs right, I have a gun now I have far more money in thanI should..if I did it again I’d do a defiance barreled action from a reputable business and bolt it in my stock of choice. Forget the hype it’s not worth it.

    .22lr pistol recommendations

Buckmark is my first recommendation, ruger would be second only because the buckmark I have is more accurate and the trigger is cleaner than my ruger mark

    Scope for .22 LR

Meopta is a fine scope, and is surprising that they manufacture much of the high end euro glass.. they are built well, and track good, glass is excellent scope is really nice for the sub $1,000 range. I miss spelled athlon earlier, my bad.. Midway USA has a Leupold Mark 4 on sale for $699...

    Scope for .22 LR

It all depends on budget, but best advice is to find one that is 24x or bigger power on the high side, and will parallax down to 10-15 yards if not you’ll be pretty disappointed with it. Budget scopes the Athelon offerings are nice, I have a nightforce nx8 4-32 that’s awesome, also have a...
