Here is one that has been pushed about .005" into the lands next to a bullet for reference. They are Nosler Custom competition 140gr. Its several years old, I just have a lot of it That I shoot in my 6.5x55.
yeah, i'm not happy with it... Ill just have to have my smith (Me) fix it... I used a match reamer from elk ridge. I wonder if I should just get a standard .260 reamer and try to lengthen the throat or try to use a throating reamer?
Does anybody know if the .264" 140 noslers have to seat deeper than say SMK's or Hornady ELD's? I have a .260 with a fresh match chamber but they are hitting the lands at 2.70" O.A.L.. Trying to figure out whats going on......

I chambered a brux barrel in 2016 with a .260rem floating pilot match reamer. This was my 5th chamber but first "match". The project got set aside until today when I finally got some brass. My issue is that with 140gr noslers at an OAL of 2.70" I'm right on the lands.

I understand how similar all of these cartridges are as far as general performance, but I am wondering if perhaps one might pull ahead of the group when you are using an 18"-20" barrel. Perhaps with the right powder in each they are still neck and neck, but...
