If you are using a well built rifle and you work up slow, you mightbe able to get to 47.8 grains. When I did so I found that around 47.0 grains pressures appeared higher than at the ultimate load for my rifle which was 47.7 grains (velocity of 2980 ft/secs) 26.5" Rock Creek 5R. GAP 10 Switchblock getting stuck
It is exactly that way that I learned how to treat my switchblock. Noveske wouldn't ship mine until the wrenches (wenches) were back in stock. It's remarkable how easy it moves now, 3,500 rounds later.- 308sako

GAP 10 Switchblock getting stuck
As soon as you learn to keep the oil away from the switchblock it will work like a charm. Counter intuitive I know, but believe me, that's what works! Use the wrench to move it through it's positions and shoot it dry.- 308sako

Wilson vs Redding neck bushings
Based on the information you provided the diameters you are choosing should be correct. I use both manufacturers and prefer for no particular reason the Wilson bushings. Those diameters are on the thin side for .308 Winchester however. You might want to use a micrometer on some other rounds...- 308sako
