    Night Vision BNVD UL WP

@photorestore The NVD-BNVD’s stay where you put them so once your IP is set, if you stow them in place without rotating the tubes, and bring back down they’ll be where you left them. Unless you bump it of course. Robert is a good dude. I also 2nd L3 filmless WP if money is no restriction...

    Night Vision BNVD UL WP

Thanks for sharing. I have the BNVD-SG non-UL/standard -14 optics. I haven’t used the push button housing but they seem like they could be a pita compared to the old school knobs.

    Night Vision Which Helmet

I commend you Vic for taking that stance immediately with no hesitation. That is fucked what TW did and this is why I wish companies would stay out of politics to this level, having a candidate at their business, trying to influence their customers making commericals, etc. Same with...

    Night Vision Which Helmet

I try not to mix politics with fun stuff like night vision. Politics aside the TW helmets are awesome. I love my Exfil LTP bought before that shit happened. If we want to get political, we've lost more gun rights in the last two years under President Trump. Not Trump bashing. I support the...

Night Vision Flir thermal data/power cable

Here's the one I got. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XC9Y2RM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's long enough to stick the battery on a rail or on the pic rail on the side of the PTS233. I made a DIY using a Anker Astro E1 6700mAh, QD base, and some epoxy.

Night Vision Flir thermal data/power cable

You need a USB-A (to battery pack) to USB-C (to PTS233) cable. I use a cable with 90 degree USB-C end.

Night Vision Introducing the TNVC PVS-14 NPBM-D Bridge - 2.93 oz., $315 NOW IN STOCK!

I’ve got one of these and I really like it. Super light weight, the rings do their job of aligning the -14’s straight, and the friction on the arms is solid. They stay where you put em.

I bucked the consensus and got a PTS233. Borrowed a Scout III and the outdoor alert mode I really liked so went for the FLIR. Real happy with it so far. I know there’s not a lot of fans of palettes outside white/black hot but for me the outdoor alert mode in particular is a huge aid.

Alright, looks like a have a few options now with an HD19a that popped up. These are all within my price range. The HD19a & Scout III 640 are used and the PTS233 brand new (good deal). Handheld scanner to ID within 50-150 yards I'm leaning HD19a but I like the outdoor alert of the PTS233...

Had a Trail XQ38 and I didn’t like 2.1 for where I’m using it. Dense trees and brush with not a lot of open areas.

Yeah would love a Trij but same deal on the cost. My old lady would kick my ass, lol

Pulsar says no refurbed HD19A's and if they did it'd be $2k. Nice up sell, probably shouldn't have hit #1 for sales, lol. Were these 25 or 17 micron? 25 is what I remember. I'm disappointed in the lack of affordable 1x'ish devices. What's to choose from, Breach or PTS233, both of which are...

Night Vision Specs on NV? I know it's not the end all be all, but.......

I’d say L3 filmless white phosphor. The higher spec 72 lp/mm tube(s). I’ve been a pinnacle green phosphor guy for years and just recently jumped into higher spec L3 filmless white phosphor (2440 FOM). It’s performance is much better than any of the green tubes I’ve had. So much so I sold off...

What about the HD19A Quantums? Worth it for under $2k or what's a fair street price?

I sold my XQ38 Trail to make way for some other toys. Loved that scope but I used it the most handheld and 2.1x didn't work for me how I was expecting. Hopefully the 1x or 1.5x does the trick. Thanks

Thanks. Want something small/smallish. Was looking at Pulsar but their new Axion handhelds all have high base mags. I want closer to 1:1 for scanning within 0-300 yards max. Probably will be more like 100-200 max.

Looking for someone who has actually used these devices. Looking for a good handheld. Budget is in the price range of these devices not any more. Asking for input on #1 Best performance (to the user's eye) and #2 recommendation which you'd choose given same choices. FLIR Scout III 640 (good...

    Night Vision BNVD UL WP

Correct, you rotate the pods to your eyes and use the mount’s vertical/horizontal. Supposedly the UL optics are optimized for white phosphor. I asked UL users on ARF to compare them to -14 optics but no ones replied back. Maybe someone here?
