New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
My son has been upset every morning when I say good bye. I intended to take my Kestrel to work and fart around with it during lunch on Monday. I was still buzzing on the fun of a new toy. Especially because I shot the previous day and had outstanding results after it was calibrated. On my way...
Well I think there is enough information there to put this argument to rest. If the MS is attached and you want to shoot at distance then keep it at 6'oclock and expect POI shift. Good work!
Holly Dillo sauce that is a jem! I guess there was some heavy video editing somewhere after that moment.... "errbody take your scope off and pass it to the right"
I bought a Tubbs firing pin system for a 700. Used it for some time before it was rebarreled, blueprinted and trued. The smith said he had to shorten my firing pin or I could expect the same thing you had happen. Never heard of that before. Did you install a tubbs?
The application is different. I rather carry and shoot the bravo from a pack or tripod. The gen 2 W3C is heavy and edgy. The newer models have addressed some of the issues I can mention. The ability to fold was nice when the suppressor is attached to a 26" barrel, for mobility or storage...
I have 300 140 ELDs through one. This year I mounted a 5-25 Vudu H-59. Well I fired 35 rounds on Memorial day. 32 different distances from 200-1125 yds. I dropped two rounds is all. This rifle produces exceptional accuracy. I originally planned to buy a Rem 5R but this was presented for a good...
I mistakenly did not dig deep into the VSR threads. WOW what a dead horse debate that has been. Looks like I am going to just spend until it hurts. - which is less than damaging a 2K optic.
I would agree but different details to each keep them neck and neck. Larue's finish is superior. ADM return to zero is rated high. Larue's ease of operation. Larue uses cam tensioning while ADM has adjustable tensioning / retention. ADM can be difficult to remove if over adjustment occurs. I...
I have two identical mounts but in 30mm holding MK4s. What specifically are you referencing? I have not encountered issues thus far. Several thousand rounds fired from a .308 with ADM recon mount attached. As far as QD mounts go, return to zero with ADM is superior to mounts twice the price.
Okay, I think I may have answered my own question. I used MS paint to determine that the 34mm tube = 133 pixels. So 1mm =3.911 pixels. I measured the space as 500 pixels divided by 3.911 = 127mm.
Hello, I am hoping that someone with a Vudu 5-25 can help clear up a question. What is the main-tube length. I need to choose a mount that will fit. Eotech did not include this dimension online. I am leaning towards a ADM Recon with the minimum height required to mount on an AR platform.
