    Got a bunch of them.

    adjustable gas block

If your guy knows his porting, there will be no more tuning left to do with an AGB.

Longer range ar15 sight in distance

In a addition to that, even accommodating a BDC isn't as simple as just zeroing at 50 because the manual said to. As you said, 50/200 almost never works out and chances are you aren't shooting the exact bullet at the exact speed in the same environmentals that the reticle designer input into his...

Ruger SFAR small frame 308, 6.8 pounds

That's where it's at for me. I can get most all of my 5.56 guns to shoot .75-1" with any generic SMK load, get a fine zero and I'm done, time to go hit things and never shoot a group again unless troubleshooting is required later on.

Geissele Cut Rifled SPR Build and Barrel Evaluation. (Part 4 (Load Development 28MAY25) Update!!!

Same. I've shot a lot of groups where 3-4 of them look great and the 1-2 outliers make me think it's a trash group. Then I'm pleasantly surprised when it's still a .8" group. I think 7 twist originally caught on because "mil-spec bro!" and then hung around because the general consensus is that...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

For sure, if a guy wants an old BMW to drive hard and modify he's way better off starting with a non M car. And as good as the M3's M10 sounds with ITB's, the M20 sounds even better, so there's that. Not to mention the underhood bling factor. I miss my old E30. If I knew then what I know now I...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Problem is the E30 M3's are regularly fetching 6 figures these days. That puts them solidly into "too valuable to drive" category. No need to feel guilty about beating on a Cayman. They do sound great though, even though I've got a weird hangup about BMW's with anything less than 6 cylinders in...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Did something similar in 2018 hand unloading a pallet of tractor parts off a gooseneck. One of the parts rolled to my corner and down went the pallet with my leg underneath. I felt a pop but for the first 30 seconds didn't feel anything. Then the nausea came on strong and I realized I wasn't...

    Dmr/ precision ar type trigger

I'm not picking on your desire to try a 2 stage. Do what you want. I'm just ranting about the hive mentality of people that think 2 stage is the only way without being able to articulate why. That is kinda the idea. If I bought a single stage that didn't fire from any movement I would return it...

    Dmr/ precision ar type trigger

I agree with this and that's my preference as well, but I still don't know why people are so hung up on this. I see threads and FB posts all the time from people soliciting trigger advice and find it bizzare that people gravitating towards precision use automatically assume that 2 stage is the...

    Dmr/ precision ar type trigger

I've got a bunch of single stages and quite a few 2 stage triggers, and for the life of me I can't figure out why people choose to die on one hill or the other. Unless you're a monkey, you should be able to use either.

    6 ARC Longevity

All of that has been done already, with negligible gains. If anyone wants a highly modified 6mm Grendel based wildcat they were already doing it way before ARC existed. For the other 99.999% of shooters, they want to pull ammo out of a box and shoot it, pull brass from a bag and load it, buy...

    6 ARC Longevity

It basically existed as a Grendel wildcat for almost two decades, with as strong a following as a wildcat can have. I think it'll stick around.

I'll take your word for it. Not sure if I'd want to try it.

Horse Power, Track Shit, Torque, Cubic Inches, Liters, Run What Ya Brung, Auto or Cycle

I'm skeptical, but Miata track guys are usually pretty good about honest data collection. In Porsche 944 world guys love to spread the idea that an LS swap adds no weight. But when you finally pull some details out of them, they're comparing an aluminum LS with no accessories to a 944 turbo...

Replacing the barrel on my Medium weight 14.5 inch run and gun upper

The Criterion seems to have acceptable accuracy for R&G and it'll survive higher round counts and abuse much better than an SS barrel. So that's where I'd put it.

Lilja NSW Recce 15.1 barrel twist

    7 twist is overrated.
