    Re: Winchester Guys-What's this worth? Paid 400 for mine, and it's a varmiter with thin barrel. Would much rather have a setup like that, and drop It in a different stock. Yeah, 550 being that a new 700 Sps ain't much more in price. Good luck

    Gunsmithing Timney clearance question

    While buying items for my m40 build, I started considering a timney with the straight trigger (517) for rem700. I've already bought badger bottom metal with mag, and wonder if there would be any clearance problems with the trigger touching the guard. Do any of you have this combo? Thanks !

    Re: Hornady case prep center Thanks cobra. I may just be sold on this. So for 243/308, I only need a seperate cutter? Also, the website shows a neck turning cutter. Have you used this as well? I'm wondering if that cut occurs simultaneously with the length cut. Thanks again !!

    Re: Hornady case prep center Thanks for the replies. It'll be 308/243 for me with 5.56 on occasion. Will one giraud unit be able to adapt all three rounds? Their webpage says extra holders and cutters available, so Does this mean one motor unit with swap out fittings for multiple calibers?

    Any thoughts on this machine? I understand there's a few case specific trimmers that will fly trough the chore of trimming length, but this unit does pockets,burrs,chamfer and brushings as well as length. I currently have a hand Cranker by lyman . I'm just looking to step up to something...

    I'm going to try my hand at rifle handloads soon (done pistol), and have a ton of .243 once fired through my Win.70 The dies came in for the 243 the other day, and happen to be a redding set with only two dies....no neck sizer. I called the vendor, and he explained I do not need the neck sizer...
