New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Thanks for all your help. The pic sucks but the lug is fine and dandy. The extractor is partially sheared off. Showed it to someone in person. Bought another one on Brownells. Unfortunately it is fit with a rivet. I shot the first 40 through it brand new. No pressure signs on the brass. Drilled...
This is a REM LA MAG BOLT face with a gouge in the shroud (? correct nomenclature ?) protruding up about .020"
Notice after 40 rounds of factory ammo 7mm RUM.
What should i do?
Re: detachable mounts for bolt guns
Hey guys,
thanks for the info, i use badger rings and rails.
i have the torque wrench. I think not having the quick release mount will make it easier on a bolt rifle.
thanks!
Re: detachable mounts for bolt guns
What i meant was using a detachable mounting system like a Larue,
to allow placing the scope on more than one rifle.
First post,
Would you consider placing a high end scope S&B, US Optics, etc. on a high dollar bolt action rifle to allow use on other bolt action rifles?
I would guess clearance issues and needed elevation base are part of the problem.
thanks for your info!
