    Blind window clamp

I’ll throw a Fortune Cookie over the blind window and kill any damned thing I need to with a rifle. And it sure seems royal retarded to spend the money on that contraption just for digiscoping. Not to mention it looks massive and you still have to go buy a bipod and a ballhead for it.

    Blind window clamp

Yeah I went down that rabbit hole for a few minutes and was very quickly overwhelmed!

    Blind window clamp

I could see that for wives, kids, or old folks and heavy rifles.

I wonder if I have just answered my own question: Threaded C-Clamp

    Blind window clamp

I do a vast majority of my hunting in a deer blind, and I love digiscoping with a spotter. I currently use my RRS tripod for this, but sometimes there’s just not enough room for it. Is anyone aware of a clamping platform that I could use? Idea would be clamp something to blind window frames of...

any reason in particular you chose to buy the eyepiece in the States? Or is that just the way it worked out?

    Spotters Japanese EBay Kowa

Probably something like a 602. Perhaps a 664. Will lust after a 554. I like digiscoping from the deer stand quite a bit. First setup was with an older 85mm Zeiss. Feel like there’s no need to tote the Hubble telescope around.

    Spotters Japanese EBay Kowa

If one was trying to get their hands on a Kowa, there are some attractive prices from Japanese sources on EBay. Had anyone had any experience going this route (or have warnings based on first hand experience?)

    Gloves: alternative to PIG gloves?

I use the Mechanix 0.5mm high dexterity. I like them for limiting bare skin exposure in light duty situations. I doubt they’d last more than a day or two if I used them for actual work. Sounds a lot like the Pig gloves, but at least they’re not $50!

    SBR large game hunting

Pin the suppressor mount to attain 16” OAL for barrel. In this case, TBAC Ultra 5. It was great to shoot, and I killed a lot of hogs with it. Really fast 110’s were murderous. The suppressor was just enough to make it not uncomfortable without hearing protection.

    SBR large game hunting

Form 1 to create an SBR should be infinitely shorter, I haven’t done one in a couple years but my last one on eFile only took 30 days. When I went down this same road, I ended up with a pinned 14.5” 308 in a chassis with a collapsible stock (JTAC Industries.) It was small enough to scratch the...

Night Vision Setting up a primarily day time rifle for thermal use

I’m willing to bet a different upper and a dedicated WMT is a more cost effective approach, along with being a lot more practical.

    Scoped AR sling setup

Same ^ I’ve tried lots of different things but always end up as close to end of rail as possible, and rear outboard side of stock. Neomag Sentry Strap was a game changer for me regarding storage and transportation.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I have two questions for the group: 1. Has anyone checked repeatability with the barrel change system? 2. What is the overall confidence level in Seekins ability to eventually make barrels and bolt heads readily available?

    6mm Recoil

Just measured my girls’ LOP and it’s a teeny tiny 8”. I may be putting the cart before the horse here, going to be hard to get them behind a bolt action of any kind until they get bigger. May indeed have to start out with an AR.
