New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I appreciate this more than you know. We have limited time to devote to forums and have to be efficient with that time. Our main objective in participating is to help customers, so asking for clarification to vague posts isn't snark. I can't help if I don't understand the problem.

I'm posting a link to the main AT-X thread so I don't have to address numerous comments on this one.
Also, Timo, your assertion that U.S. Australian rifles has a problem that can be corrected with a shim is wrong...
Hopefully the information below will help alleviate the anxiety being propagated that the AT-X has fundamental flaws. For those who are just here to stir the pot, there is nothing I can do or say to fix you.

Let me make this perfectly clear. There is NO shim "issue". If you bought your gun in the US or Australia and the receiver is engraved with Accuracy International of North America, you don't have an issue remotely like Timo's. You may a difficult magazine and that is really easy to address, but...
Have you contacted us about this?

I don't ever recall speaking to you about issues with your AI rifle(s). I'm not hard to reach. We have a very small service area and vault at work dedicated to servicing and repairing AI rifles. This is a very small activity at AINA and we typically...
Timo, ET AL:
This isn't a problem with U.S. rifles. We are manufacturing these guns both in the UK and the US. The unfortunate effect of posting this here is now everyone will assume all AT-Xs are afflicted with this issue. As I communicated on a PM, AI will absolutely correct this issue. This...
Hi Sam, don't you still have my phone number and email? I'm happy to PM it to you. Feel free to contact me as you have in the past if you need assistance with anything related to AI.
The information at that link is only partly accurate. There were a total of 5 AWVs produced, two in 22-250 and three in 6BRs. Below is one of the 6BR AWVs. Those were on very short actions with double stack 10-shot mags. The two .223s that were produced were built on the AW308 action. The photo...
