My 5" suppressed .22 AR is more fun than boobs. It's always the first one I break out whenever I'm just looking to make noise on steel in the short bays or when there are new shooters around.
Mine uses an adapter from Redi-Mag (?) so it can accept S&W 15-22 magazines. I forget where the...
So...what type of engineer are you? =)
yes, what you suggest makes sense in theory. But in practice would add significantly to the complexity (and cost) of a relatively simple system that has been proven to work. So...why?
When my stuff has to be in plain sight, it's stuffed in a dirty old duffel bag with strategically placed well worn gym shoes and a wet towel laying on top.
The actual equipment itself is in whatever case, that is then placed in the duffle.
I popped open my iPhone and was alerted to upgrade the firmware on the Kestrel. It's been several months since I've used the phone app, so not sure when this firmware upgrade was released.
Anyway, it's been stuck at 8% "Retrieving Gun Profiles" for about 45 minutes...suggestions?
Edit...
I had a 6.5CM Savage FLCP-K that - once I dropped it in an MDT chassis - was an easy .4-.5MOA gun all day long. I've since 'upgraded' to a Tikka, but would not hesitate to own another Savage.
All I saw was an hourly rate at $35/hr.
It's 1:20 minute drive for me, so pretty much same as Clinton House and their $50/4 hours or whatever. Looks like a nice facility though.
Meh...I'm not gonna get worked up over a simple, and quickly corrected, slip of the tongue.
The message, yeah, of course. But jumping in this just doesn't have legs.
There are a number of tools that work well for this task. I tend to use a set of feeler gauges.
- Set the scope loose in the mount and the mount properly torqued on the rifle
- Jam feeler gauges between the bottom side of the turret and the top of the rail/mount. Use enough so that the scope...
Something that really bothers me is the Gov's option to drop the charges AFTER getting wind of the judge's ruling. It should be binding once you reach a certain point.
I'd say the Gov can drop charge or the defense can enter a plea up until the point where the judge or jury heads off to...
I went with the Primary Arms 1x Prism https://www.primaryarms.com/pa-1x-compact-prism-scope-with-acss-cyclops-reticle-fde
It's the bee's knees for me compared to any RDS. Don't let the "ACSS ranging" or BDC reticle be a selling point on the 1x, it's so small to be unusable as designed. BUT...
The positional stuff, barricades, etc May be the way to go.
I have a pretty free hand to do what I want at my range. There’s a VTAC board and I can set up whatever.
Good ideas
I have a Tikka Tac A1 in 6.5CM that is boringly accurate.
I’m looking to add a new CENTERFIRE rifle to the rotation that may be a bit more of a challenge out to 700 yards - max at my main range.
What caliber should I consider?
.223 and .308 seem in the running, but also kinda boring.
