    AI 300WM 26" barrel & 1in11 twist rate

Ive been wondering the same thing. Looking at a AX MkIII and want the magnum bolt for the barrels I already have, and wish the twist on the 300 was a little faster.

1400 Yard Goal 7mm Rem Mag

I'm having fun with the 195 EOLs in my 7 Rem Mag. Played around yesterday at 1150 yards. 8.0 mils, just above freezing. My rifle just loves them. 1150 was boring. 28" barrel, SAAMI chamber, and Retumbo. Just had a barrel throated for the 190 Bergers though. Can't wait to try them out.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son

This is easily my favourite thread on the hide.

    Sako S20

Interesting. Mine is a SAAMI chamber. But I do have one throated for 195s that I’m going to be trying the 168 LRX in. We’ll see how that goes. Sorry for getting off topic.

Not my experience at all with the 28. Mine loves Barnes TTSX.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son

John 1:1-3 and 14 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.” “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his...

Accuracy International Competition Trigger. How do you like it?

This thread got me thinking, why are there no other aftermarket options for AI triggers? Patents? Or something else I’m missing?

Would like some advice on M5 Bottom Metal.

I know hardly anything about bottom metal and spent a fair bit of time with the search function already. I'm ready to place an order for a new stock and want to ensure I'm making the right decision. With regards to the footprint/inletting, are the M5 dimensions standardized across different...

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

Good to know. I don’t have both and always figured they were the same. They do have different part numbers.

Whats the difference between the AX and AT .308 mags?

    Accuracy International AXSR's are HERE!!

From what I can see, different forend, different machining around the ARCA rail on the chassis, 3 position safety, trigger guard is rounded and that section of the chassis is thinner which is apparent when looking at the safety and the way the bottom of the tang is cut. They say the bolt is...

    New Build: Manner's Mini-Chassis

Looks like I’d end up around 0.097” thickness after milling. Might just stay with the center feed for now which I’m fine with for a hunting rifle. But also, comparing the CFE to the MBE they look to be pretty much the same dimensions other than the OD being wider due to the stiffening ribs on...

    New Build: Manner's Mini-Chassis

That’s interesting. If you search back on the forum you’ll see that Manners used to mill them out. Good to know though. I’ll have to do some measuring.

    New Build: Manner's Mini-Chassis

Is the mini chassis length the reason for not accepting the wyatt's box? I'm not sure which box you'd plan on using. But from my experience, it was the width that was the issue. Manners told me the BDL mini chassis wouldn't work with the Wyatt's MBE-3 I planned on using. I ordered it anyway and...
