    How good is good?

What size groups are considered bad, ok, good, and great? 100 yards center to center, I'm hoping to get thr 6.5 creed owners to chime in here. The reason I ask is I recently loaned my 6.5 to my mother (bad idea) for a bench match and she shot a .154" group, now friends and family are telling...

Opinions on new build for granddaughter

How old is she? Consider the 6.5, do a heavy build with a bipod or a bench setup. Unless she is hunting then .243 is what you need. Dont flute the barrel use a tubb taper, I highly recomend a .375" recoil lug. 1000 yards is achieved, good grouping all the way out, very little recoil, longer...

My vote goes to the .243 once you start reloading you can get some awesome grouping with a good barrel and trigger.

    .338 building

Not lookin to buy a gun outright, the price of buying most guns is about the same as if I build them. Seeing as how I have all the machinery to do this I prefer to build them. It is also one of the only things my Dad and I have ever been a le to do together with out telling the other to go camp...

    .338 building

Hello everyone, I'm new to SH and had a few questions I wanted to bounce off people. If YOU were going to build a .338 LM what action, stock/chassis, barrel, trigger, optic, magazine or single, acessories would YOU use, and WHY? In all honesty it doesn't matter what your purpose is for...
