How good is good?
It was a five shot group, best of three .172, .154, .169, then my dad used it and his was .184, .201, .179 i took it out the other day n shot .162, .184, .177, .241 (missed a wind change) and .191. All 5 shot groups at 100- Alaskashooter

Which McMillan?
I have a manners and a mcmillan, the mcmillan is by far my preferance, better build everything was perfect. While the manners i still needed to do a bit of carving to. Im using the a5 and love it- Alaskashooter

What size groups are considered bad, ok, good, and great? 100 yards center to center, I'm hoping to get thr 6.5 creed owners to chime in here. Opinions on new build for granddaughter
How old is she? Consider the 6.5, do a heavy build with a bipod or a bench setup. Unless she is hunting then .243 is what you need. Dont flute the barrel use a tubb taper, I highly recomend a .375" recoil lug. 1000 yards is achieved, good grouping all the way out, very little recoil, longer...- Alaskashooter

What specifically do people not like about AI stocks?
I was in love with the AI for the longest time, then I picked one up. The angle of the thumb hole in relation to the trigger seemed like it was too straight and made a prone position awkward feeling in the wrist and trigger finger, the careful aplication of bondo would have probably fixed that...- Alaskashooter

New rifle need advice on caliber

Not lookin to buy a gun outright, the price of buying most guns is about the same as if I build them. Seeing as how I have all the machinery to do this I prefer to build them. It is also one of the only things my Dad and I have ever been a le to do together with out telling the other to go camp...- Alaskashooter
