    6.5 CM at One Mile

6200 feet. Assumed standard atmospheric pressure. 66.5 MOA Not disclosing velocity. Safe but high pressure. I have since backed this load down.

Anyone know why I'm getting hangfires with H4350 in 6.5 Creed by chance?

I’m saying it’s a well known problem with a few triggers which came to light around two years ago. Fewer reports more recently.

Anyone know why I'm getting hangfires with H4350 in 6.5 Creed by chance?

It’s the trigger. Well known problem from two years ago. Call Trigger Tech and they will send a replacement as soon as you ship yours to them.

    7 SAUM Velocity Check

QuickLOAD was indicating maximum pressure and 2926 fps at 61.7 grains of Magpro. Actual velocity of that load was 250 fps slower. I have tested up to 66 grains without pressure signs and velocity within Barnes data with a 175 grain bullet. This tells me something may be seriously wrong with the...

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

No long action yet. They tell me they are going to see how the barrels for short action sell before adding long action. No bonus points for guessing who is waiting for a barrel for a long action. Great barrels at a great price.

    7 SAUM Velocity Check

ADG Ramshot Hunter solved my problem. It worked well in a 300 WSM. I thought it might work in the 7 SAUM. It did. Something was seriously off with Magpro in QuickLOAD.

    7 SAUM Velocity Check

My experience as well. I will try N565 after Hunter.

    7 SAUM Velocity Check

My go to powder for 7 SAUM has been Reloder 26. Time to find an alternative. MagPro looked to be a good, available option for the Barnes 168 LRX. Barnes does not provide load data for the 168 but published 63 to 68 grains for the 175 LRX. QuickLoad has the 168 gr bullet and shows maximum...

    Sudden accuracy issues

Hmmmmmm You shot better groups in winter than now in summer I would back off your charge weight in .3 grain increments and see if that gets your mojo back. All other suggestions are good, but I suspect you had unrealistic expectations based on your first group that may have been a...

    AXMC Accuracy Troubleshooting

You should retest your load. Powder burn rates can vary by as much as 10% from lot to lot.

ARC Mausingfield or Coup De Grace?

I misspoke. I said Hawkins Hunter BDL. The Hawkins Hunter is DBM. It just looks like a BDL with the flush fit magazine.

ARC Mausingfield or Coup De Grace?

ARC tells me the new lighter weight CDG will feed from Hawkins Hunter BDL. My action should be here in a week or two. We will see. My complaint with the original CDG was all the stock and bottom metal fitting issues. Nothing insurmountable, but annoying.

Hunting Rifle: 7mm Rem Mag or 7mm SAUM?

SAUM Enough to do the job and dead easy to load for and shoot well. The bigger boomers deliver more energy but exploit every flaw in your marksmanship skills. This is reminiscent of the 30-06 versus .308 debates. Spoiler alert: .308 won.

    Which short action magnum?

^^This^^ i also looked into longer throats and found optimized loads needed more powder to offset the greater case capacity so I’m back to standard COAL. I’m running Hammer bullets.

Co-Ax works well with ADG brass. No issue over multiple calibers.

    SIG Blaser Tactical 2 Overview

I was looking for someone else who used to do barrels for Blaser rifles and found this: https://jsipandsons.com/ They do barrels for the Tac 2.

Update #2..I think my can is messed up…Weird day at range

A loose suppressor or the suppressor cover sliding forward will do that for me.

    Different types of bottom metals.

Agree with the above except you should ask if they inlet the stock for the Remington BDL or the M5. Hawkins makes both.
