    6gt

There is a very good chance of that. I too need to clean the chamber and throat out every ~300 rounds to get rid of that carbon ring with my last two barrels. I can see it develop with a scope. I did scrub the hell out the barrel and throat last week but I had also done it around the 100 round...

    6gt

This is recently with my third barrel. All the same powder charge of 35.9yr H4350 and 109. First 20 rounds = 2816 At ~100 rounds = 2844 At ~175 rounds = 2880 At ~275 rounds = 2910 with one round as high as 2954 at this last match. Not sure what it is now after the match and sitting with...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

I only have one of five barrels that actually has the recess for locking. Never really used it and the rifle has worked awesome. I believe it has nothing to do with accuracy unless you have zeroed your rifle with it than I would stick with using it.

    Zero press

I did think about that possibility as well because a few of the primers seemed to stop the brass from pulling out of the shell holder and what felt like the primer was still barely in the pocket. But I was certain the pin was well long enough to clear the pocket. So I removed the decapping rod...

No Love for the 75gr ELD-M?

Bullshit. They are my go to projectile in 223. Have been awesome in three different rifles for me.

    Zero press

Overall I like it but no way would I buy it again for the price. I am not seeing any substantial benefits to justify the price. The only thing I don’t like about it is a new problem with the primers. Recently about 25% of the primers would stop going down the channel into the tray. This happens...

    AutoTrickler V4

Awesome idea. I too was thinking of something like that or one of the “crystal” looking things that splits the light in all directions.

Not on Hornady brass but I was forced to do it on 300 pieces of alpha brass.

    Upgrades to Ckyepod

Super happy with that kit. Makes it easy to find the knobs without looking when I already have a ton of crap to remember on the clock when shooting 90 second stages. When they have mud and dirt all over the bipod I also like feel like I have more leverage to press down on. Simple easy and quick...

    AutoTrickler V4

I am with you. The green light on my V4 is a nice addition but when the room is bright and I am in a hurry and loading fast I would like a brighter more obvious in your face green light.

    6gt

Very close to 2800 rounds down a standard SS Bartlein barrel that has been used 95% of the time at PRS matches and it’s still shooting great and hasn’t lost velocity. It only comes out for 1 day matches anymore. That shooting 109s at 2860fps with 35.5gr of H4350. I have 2200 rounds down another...

    AutoTrickler V4

Got mine today. I am coming from an original chargemaster. Set it all up in 15 minutes, calibrated it and dumped 10 charges of varget before needing to leave the house. So far I am very impressed at how fast and accurate it is. Money well spent!

    6GT current loads and progress

I get excess resistance when seating new brass fro the first time on different batches and calibers of brass for whatever reason. Even if I size it and mandrel it. The next time you seat bullets into that same brass after firing I guarantee you that it will be much less.

    Quick change barrel feedback

I have the Zeus in an MPA Matrix chassis and I’m very happy. This will be the second year using it in PRS matches. I haven’t experienced it moving or any strange results that I know of. I’m on my second 6GT barrel and I switch calibers very often between the 6Gt and 233. I also remove the...

Yes sir. I had the aluminum LRI follower in all three of my ARC mags with the same result. If I put a rag on a rod and cleaned out the inside of the mag after every stage it seemed to not have the issue as much. I even added another spring for more spring force but that didn’t help much. I...

I tried the ARC mag and they worked awesome with the 6GT until only one tiny spec of dirt got into the mag. Switched to AW with a modified HRD insert kit and never an issue after slightly tweaking the lips. For the 223rem, accurate and MDT polymer and MDT metal with an extension all work great.

    6GT current loads and progress

Think of all the room a guy could save if they still packaged them this way. Federal could take some notes.

    6GT current loads and progress

How old are we talking? Like the ones on the left? I use the ones on the left in my 223 loads and also find they are harder to seat. My SDs have never been so low when using the older ones so I might keep them around for the 6GT especially if the cups are thicker/harder.

    6GT current loads and progress

cci400 primers are the only primers I have ever used on two different 6GT barrels and not a single issue with well over 4,000 of them.
