Precision Rifle Gear The best muzzle brake for PRS? A comparison video now available

Really good video. Could you post up the data in the video here? In your opinion, which brake had the least blowback to the shooter while having the best reduction? Or should I say, which one is the happy medium, emphasis on not so obnoxious to the shooter?

Carbine Optic - CD Team Safari

3-18 with offset red dot is probably where it's at. I've only shot as the bolt gunner, but we've had stages at BOTC where it was 5 yard engagements with the carbine where an offset red dot would have been handy. You'll want something you can shoot offhand quickly in any case.

I'll Post This Here - Hornady's Podcast #50. I thought it was one of their best, but some reloaders might not like what they see....

I thought the same thing until I listened to his podcast with Erik; I posted as much previously in this thread. I think with Miles and Seth on the podcast also, there was a lot of extra noise where the data and statistics get lost in some misinterpretation. I don't mean that as bad noise, I just...

When Erik started going on about how only benchrest and F-class are precision shooters, this immediately popped into my head......🤭

I'll Post This Here - Hornady's Podcast #50. I thought it was one of their best, but some reloaders might not like what they see....

Something to keep in mind as far as tuned loads go. 3/4" group doesn't equate to a 3/4" group 100% of the time. Yeah, obvious I know, this is what the whole podcast/thread is about, but I think that's what's getting lost in the noise. Say I get one flyer out of 10, i.e 10%, and the rest go in to...

I'll Post This Here - Hornady's Podcast #50. I thought it was one of their best, but some reloaders might not like what they see....

Look at his past posts. Just packed with terrible grammar and bashing, "americans," because we're so stupid. Very likely a rusky troll account. I smell commie....

I'll Post This Here - Hornady's Podcast #50. I thought it was one of their best, but some reloaders might not like what they see....

I think their data is very applicable, but not necessarily a hard and fast rule. There's one variable (actually several under the same umbrella) I'd like to know if they factored in; Hornady. If they used Hornady bullets and brass, it's very likely they saw variances of their own product...

    Camping at matches

If I had the means, I would definitely do what you're thinking about. Heck, if I won the lottery tomorrow I'd purchase an Earthroamer and just drive around and shoot matches around the country. The match experience is a big part of why I like to go to them. Frank recently mentioned in a podcast...

Rifle Competition Events Any 2023 events in Nebraska or Iowa?

Putting on a three match series in southwest Nebraska. Calling it the Nebraska Sportsman's Series. It's an outlaw match. Sort of kind of a hunter match, with some elements of a CD match mixed in. PM me if you're interested or have questions. Register here...

Precision Rifle Gear Linear Actuator Mover

Okay, so let me preface this by saying I am an idiot when it comes to wiring and most other things electrical related. Could one use an electronic linear actuator that controlled a base with a target mounted to it for a mover that just does a back and forth movement? In my head, I'm envisioning...

How to clean these spots off the bolt?

I had a grease stain on my TL3 bolt one time I couldn't get off. This cleaned it up better than anything else I tried.

    Hornady Precision Lab Scale

Anybody else see this release from Hornady? I caught it on one of their videos. It's apparently still utilizing load cell tech. Would be interesting if the accuracy is good for a little cheaper price...

Slow feeding a controlled round feed action

I run the push feed bolt face on my 223 ai. Zero issues from a mag, but I can't single feed worth a darn. I've had great luck with the MDT poly mags FWIW.
