    I think there is because they offer a G7 BC which is a better model for most modern match bullets.... Plus you are using data collected/calculated by the guy who wrote the book on the subject!

    Wow, there seems to be some confusion here...... 6.8 mils was the needed dope for a 140 Berger VLD (.612 BC) launched from a 23" Kreiger 5R at 2875 fps with a 100 yard zero to 933 yards..... The soft nose hunting bullets were subsonic at that distance at that elevation on that given day...

    Check out RL22 as well. In my .260 I'm pushing a 140 VLD at 2875 from a 23" Kreiger with 46.4 grains (.2 grains UNDER book max), no pressure signs at all to 90* temps.... So far out to 600 yards is has been shooting in the .3's. I tried 4350 and 4831sc but the accurracy and velocities were not...

    What barrel is that? It looks like a DD S2W, if so, how's it shoot? I just put a DMR type build together using that barrel but have only shot 62 grainers through it.... Getting 1.5 MOA with cheap winchester soft points, but will be doing load development with the heavies this weekend.
