    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Yes the hostages may have been harmed in a real scenario, however they had excellent speed and violence of action.

    AI Fixed or Folder

If you are moving around a lot with the gun, the folder is nice, but if you really don't need it then why not save the $350 and put the money towards a good mount or ammo or bipod. If you do get the fixed, get the cheekpiece thumbscrews and cleaning is even a hassle. I have the fixed and love...

    Reloading table

I asked my dad the "which one should I buy" question, his response "Were did I go wrong letting you think its ok for my son to let another man build shit for him!". My response was a trip to Lowe's to spend $87 on lumber, particle board and various fasteners. One afternoon of my wife being...

    Fluted bolt and barrel??

AI tested fluting with the AX by attaching lasers to the scope action and barrel firing 1 round a minute for extended periods of time and found the action and sight stayed on the same point. The barrel laser was moving moving all over the place and they were able to determine the flutes weren't...

    First precision handloading - 6.5cm vs 260

From my experience with 260 and 308, the 308 is not finicky as a cartridge at all. My 260 started off great and got better the hotter the loads. As far as 6.5CM, my 260 has beat both my shooting partners in both gnats ass accuracy and about 130 fps in velocity. The 6.5CM didn't seem to be...

Heard anything negative about Lapua 144's, Hornady or Nosler 6.5/140HPBT match?...

The Lapua's no comment. The Nosler Custom Comps. aren't bad out to 500 yards, just don't have as good of a BC for their weight class as some others. The Hornady's are my go to bullet, I really like the HPBT Match better than the A Max, shoots the same, not sensitive to depth, cheaper than...

140 gr hornady match hpbt any good?

These bullets consistently out performed Sierra's best in my 260, that's with four different powders, three types of brass, and two different altitudes. I thought some of the groups may have been luck, but confirmed them both in Colorado and California. Best part, they are already pointed and...

for those that have used, better accuracy with the 6.5 140 Amax VS 140 BTHP?

Both were the same in my gun, more consistent than Sierra and priced right.

Help With Using Other Caliber Brass in .260

With Lapua, Norma, Nosler, Remington and Silver State Armory all making 260 brass, why not just buy it?

    Which one in 308?

Another vote for AI but I would shell out the extra cash for an AW.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold problem

Did he torque his rings/ mount to proper specs? Have you tried it since being mounted on the SCAR? Seems simple and shouldn't need to be asked but sometimes the small shit is easily overlooked.

Rifle Scopes What size tube would you prefer on your new scope? 30/34mm

I went with the 30mm for the fact that the rifles I own are heavy set-ups before having the scopes mounted, and my eyes aren't going to see a huge difference in light transmission and brightness and clarity for anything in the mentioned price point, however my back and shoulders will feel the...

Redding die with a jacked up lock ring

Whenever you get it off I recommend changing to Hornady lock rings. All of my dies have them, and all of my dies are Redding dies. I'm not sure I would want to try to use it if it's crooked though, might be better off to wait and see what their customer service says.
